Sea Shells by the Sea Shore.

Marcel the man under the Afro.

Although full of thick & gloomy smog I have created a new look to the City of Downtown LA .

With one brow up he remains to question the characters within the downtown scene.

18 x 24 acrylic and silk-screen on canvas



This is Marcel.

The man UNDER the AFRO :]

He was brought to life in my sketchbook and remained there until mid February. (what a process that was )

The drawing alone took over ten hours.

Then with the help of Mr. Chris Hughes we blew the image up to 18x 24 and created a screen.

All in all this project took a combined total of 20-25 hrs @_@

AND I'M STILL ALIVE AND GOING STRONG !

Snippet of Life.

 Over the past month I have yet again fell off the face of the blogging world.

Whoops sorry reality has consumed my every moment.
<3 I have been a bit selfish with my findings.

Finally, I have continued  to surround myself  with nothing but the greatest of friends and of course my lovely Mama. When expressing our individual ideas and sharing laughs they reflect a piece of their light that shines into my soul and illuminates my essential being.

Here is a little story of November to get everyone back up to speed.

Meet Mister Chris Hughes.

This man is the newest addition to my life and is one of my greatest friends.

With him by my side I feel that nothing can hold me back.

The slightest touch that his hands place upon my body cause me to tremble.

The strength of the butterflies that flutter within my heart are uncontrollable !

 And I love every moment of it.

He is a talented artist and understands the hardships to keep pushing.

             He is one of my inspirations and continues to push me towards my dreams.

Everything happens for a reason and

 Chris . . . is becoming my reason for everything <3

You are amazing babe and am thankful to have someone

as genuine and true in my life.

Who knew that after being friends for a while that we would create something

beyond what words can describe.

You are part of my soul and always in my heart.

Your ideas blow me away.

Just a little creation  my love made at work

and used a rose petal to add a little touch of color.

Yeah a freaking rose petal !

Uugh BRILLIANT !

Last but not least . . . .

 I have been messing around with textures.

This little lady is on a canvas panel and the background texture was created 

by taking strips of tissue paper and painting over them :]

Once the background dried I continues to paint this beauty. 

She is almost complete just need to add some more haiiir ! 

What a beautiful end to my November as a new December rolls in.

These fascinating stories are filled with beautiful colors allowing your imagination to soar.

Warming up.

About time I find myself amongst the paint brushes and canvas.

Painting .. Ooh painting...

Sure does know how to be stubborn,

yet it keeps me coming back for more.

Where it all began . . .

As thoughts race through veins,

pumping rich with imagination,

I found myself in search for a  safe place to store my creations.

Paint Game.

. . . Eventually my creations will be ALIIIIVE.

Perfection in a cup.

Lattes at Catalina Coffee Company are beautifully hand-crafted and are

able to enjoy while relaxing on a vintage patterned couch.

The entire set-up of this cafe is to make you feel as if you were right at home.

And I must say with my hazelnut soy latte in hand that the atmosphere

is nothing less than comforting.

If you are from the South Bay and haven't experienced this cafe,

I suggest you get your shifts in gear and check it out.

Lately I've been quite selfish with my time and have been detached from the internet world.

Art is part of my life but sometimes the networking aspect becomes weary. 

Over the past couple weeks I have started a few little projects so here is a sneak peek of whats been in my mind . . .
